In a bizarre incident, a husband reportedly doused his wife with diesel and set her on fire on December 29 night, critically injuring the latter. The victim was rushed to Naga hospital Kohima. Police sources said both husband and wife were locals, residing at Naga hospital colony. The incident occurred inside the house, sources added. Till the time of filing this report no further details were divulged, stating that the case was sensitive and the victim’s side were yet to register a complaint at the police station.
