Department of power, Mon has informed that in view of the festive season, the public distribution transformers will be under immense pressure due to over loading.
In this regard, Executive Engineer, Mon Electrical Division, Er. K. Tingtenmoie Konyak has informed the consumers and general public to not use high power consuming lights for decorations and avoid using incandescent bulbs, coil heaters and boilers.
To have stable power supply, the executive engineer has reminded the consumer to opt for LED bulbs and genuine energy saving electrical appliances.
Informing that the department was working round the clock to provide uninterrupted power supply, general public have been requested to extend cooperation so as to enable the department served them better.
