Lochomi Students’ Union (LSU) celebrated it 50-year milestone on December 28 and 29 under the theme “reflect, celebrate and strive towards excellence” with executive secretary, SBAK NM, Rev.Hukugha Zhimo was the main speaker .
Speaking on the occasion, Rev.Hukugha Zhimo exhorted the students to retrospect and introspect for better future.
Lauding the pioneers for their painstaking contribution in founding the LSU, executive secretary encouraged the younger generations to carry the spirit and zeal of their founding members by excelling towards better and glorious generations.
Rev. Hukugha said God has showered a blessing upon Lochomi students as the village had produced good number of doctors, engineers, academicians, theologians, officers and were excelling in all competitive exams. He asked the congregation to forgive and forget past mistakes on the occasion and move forward with common goal and vision.
Earlier, the jubilee monolith was unveiled by founder general secretary, LSU, Vikheto Achumi in presence of executive secretary, SBAK, GBs and LSU executives, while the jubilee souvenir was released by former president and chairman planning board, Shihoto Zhimomi. As part of its golden jubilee celebration, LSU also organized a panel discussion-cum-career guidance for the students.
KTBCY: Kezo Town Baptist Church Youth Department (KTBCYD) celebrated its golden jubilee on December 28 with director, youth department ABC, Rev. Vicavor Krose as the speaker.
During the occasion, Rev. Vicavor shared on proclaiming the greatness of God for his indescribable nature towards the creation of mankind with his omnipotent attributes.
Earlier, speaker also unveiled the jubilee monolith, while the jubilee souvenir magazine was released by travelling pastor, Japfüphiki Baptist Church council, Rev. Vilhouneio Tacü.
