VBSY campaign reaches across Nagaland

Central government’s outreach flagship schemes, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), has reached nook and corners of the state in rural areas in phase wise. According to PIB, a total of 17 locations in 10 districts were covered as of December 7. Despite incessant rain in several parts of the state, people turned out in good numbers to attend the programmes.


The Urban phase of the campaign and VBSY IEC van was in Dimapur by DC Dimapur Dr Tinojongshi Chang at Naga Shopping Arcade. The release further informed that health camps, on spot registration for flagship schemes and banking services, taking of Sankalp pledge, sharing of success stories by beneficiaries, drone display, audio visual presentation of flagship programmes through LED screens mounted on IEC vans and felicitations of beneficiaries were carried out at campaign.


In Chümoukedima, VBSY events were conducted in Toulazouma and Unity village where secretary, Village Development Board, Kethosetuo Kezo and village council chairman attended, Hetoka Awomi, while in Sechu Zubza, Kohima, the event was conducted along with VBSY IEC van.


Four programmes were conducted in Niuland where large number of public turned up.
In Shamator, the programmes were held at Chassir and Hullangkiur, while in Longleng, the event was organized at Hongnyu village.


The event at Wokha village was held at Tsungiki village and in Mon, at Tichungnyu village.
In Mokokchung, the VBSY campaign was organized at Chuchuyimlang village while in Tseminyu, at Sendenyu village. In Kiphere, the events were conducted at Longthonger village and Okhe village.
