The Assam Rifles Brass Band secured overall first position in the All India Police Band Meet that was held in Gujarat Police Academy, Ahmadabad. A total of 20 teams from CAPFs & State Police participated in the competition.
Assam Rifles Brass Band stood first, Assam Rifles pipe band stood second. The award for best Band Major was awarded to Hav Dhan Bahadur Thapa. Assam Rifles Buglers stood second in the competition.
