5th KFC outlet inaugurated at Dimapur

The Fifth outlet of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) in Dimapur, Sixth in the state and 51st in North East, was inaugurated on December 22, at Darogapathar, Dimapur, by minister of Higher Education and Tourism, Temjen Imna Along.


Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the outlet, Along emphasized the significance of the establishment as a big achievement for a state like Nagaland, and said that the inauguration signifies growth and prosperity of the economy of Nagaland and its people.
He commended the transformation of the Dhansari to Chümoukedima stretch over the past 5 to 6 years, which according to him, displayed evolving transformation of Dimapur.


He further envisioned the new outlet becoming a landmark and a preferred gathering spot for both the young and old. He also encouraged the youths to aspire to establish franchises through hard work and dedication.


Along later dwelled on a habit of Nagas, where many Naga families don’t have the habit of dining outside their kitchen. He expressed the hope that the KFC store would foster community connections, bringing people together to enjoy shared experiences and communication.
