NSCN/GPRN (Akato Chophi) has expressed tremendous pain and sorrow at the sad demise of deputy C-in-C, ‘maj. gen.’ Hukato Chophi son of late Nizukhu Chophi of Yehemi village on December 30.
In a condolence message, NSCN/GPRN (Akato Chophi) through its MIP said late Chophi joined the “Naga national movement” in the year 1992, and defended the rights of the Nagas with bravery, courage, honour and truth.
It said the late leader leaves behind his legacy as a daring and a staunch “nationalist” for all his comrades and compatriot to cherish on.
Further, the NSCN invoked God’s grace to kindly rest his soul in eternal peace and also prayed that the good Lord provide solace to his family members and friends during their time of grief.
