India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that dense fog was likely over some parts of North East. In its weather bulletin, IMD stated that dense fog conditions were very likely to prevail for a few hours in morning in isolated pockets over West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during January 5-7.
