‘Nagaland Winter Expedition 2023’ culminates

A nine-day “Nagaland Winter Expedition 2023”, covering 12 districts of Nagaland, celebrating the rich cultural heritage, breathtaking landscapes, and adventurous spirit of Nagaland culminated on January 4 with 30 off-roaders from across the country braving the toughest terrains, rivers and creeks of the state.

The expedition organised by 4×4 Attitude Expedition under the tagline “Unforgiving Terrains, Uniting People” was flagged off on December 27, 2023 from CT Square, 7th Mile, Chümoukedima and culminated at the same venue.

A press release by 4×4 Attitude Expedition informed that off-roaders drove through Dimapur, Chümoukedima, Niuland, Wokha and Mokokchung districts. They also navigated through the untamed scenic trails of the eastern parts of Nagaland. After a cultural immersion and reaching the eastern boundary of India, the expedition headed to Zunheboto.

The expedition made a trip to Mt. Kapamodzü, the highest motorable peak in Nagaland at 2498m and also visited the war cemetery in Kohima. After eight grueling days of driving through harsh roads and trails of Nagaland, 4×4 Attitude Expedition said most of the off-roaders settled down in the base camp at Benreu Village. Only six of the bravest off-roaders took on one of the toughest uphill trails on the final day.
