He said the youth of the state yearn for inspiration to embrace and foster a just, dignified system of governance within the state.
Jamir said that such a pursuit could only be achieved when individuals entrusted with the responsibility to inspire others strictly adhere to the principles instilled by the divine creator—

principles rooted in truthfulness, courage to do right and unwavering accountability. “Only by embodying these virtuous qualities can we construct to stable and righteous foundation for the progress of dynamic society,” NPCC chief said.
On the issue of addressing the pressing matter of the Naga political solution, Supongmeren Jamir said it appears as though the government has conveniently forgotten the promises it made to the electorate during the elections. “While the leadership may assume that the people are oblivious to these promises, the reality of the issues faced by the citizens paints it contrasting picture,” he stated.

NPCC president said it was high time that the government refrained from toying with the sacred sentiments of the Naga people. Instead, he said the government ought to exhibit the courage and conviction necessary to deliver a clear and acceptable solution to the intricate Naga political issue.

At present, he said the Naga community finds itself divided due to the “unethical and avaricious practices of certain political leaders.” Jamir said those individuals placed their personal gain and business ventures above the greater good of the Naga people.
