To mark the commencement of Kichilimi Baptist Church (KBC) centenary jubilee year, members of the church conducted fasting, prayers, and various related activities on January 6-7.
A press release by KBC informed that the church would be celebrating its 100 years under the theme, “Tekhoive keu kupulu” on December 28-29, 2024. To mark the commencement of jubilee year, Pastor Shikashe Chishi hoisted the jubilee flags; DAHC director, Rev. Dr. Kivito Achumi and Government College Zunheboto, principal, Dr. Kalito H. Kiho dedicated and inaugurated the jubilee memorial pastor’s residence; jubilee planning board chairman, Hoshito Assumi extorted the gathering. Further, to mark the jubilee year, the church in collaboration with the village councils, have also prohibited hunting and fishing, in any form, within the village jurisdiction.
