Nuiland, Mokokchung and Tseminyu District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) and meetings for the ensuing 75th Republic Day celebrations were held by district administration and sub-divisions.
Niuland: Niuland DPDB meeting was held on January 17 under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) and vice chairman DPDB, Niuland, Sara S Jamir at the Conference Hall of DC Nuiland Office.
According to a DIPR report, the house reviewed the enrolment status of Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) from different departments in the district and found that nearly 100% was achieved in every department.
SDO (C) and in-charge of the District Sports Council presented the status of the newly completed Multi Discipline Sports Stadium at Niuland.
During the meeting, PHE Department presented the departmental activities. While acknowledging the works of the department in the district, the DC enquired whether the concern officers are efficiently implementing bore well installation in the villages and urged the concerned department to create public awareness camp in adopting community bore well/ community water reservoir.
Mokokchung: Mokokchung DPDB cum work distribution for the forth coming Republic Day celebration meeting was held on January 16 at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mokokchung Office.
According to a DIPR report, DC and vice chairman, Mokokchung DPDB, Thsuvisie Phoji sought cooperation from the members and reminded them of the forthcoming parliamentary election.
He also informed all the heads of offices, those who are yet to submit the employees list, under their office to do so at the earliest.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mokokchung, Chumlamo Humtosoe informed the members on the issues relating to Town Graveyard and Waste dumping site.
Tseminyu: Tseminyu DPDB was held on January 16 at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Tseminyu Office under the chairmanship of MLA and chairman DPDB Tseminyu, Ar. Jwenga Seb. According to a DIPR report, the house discussed for provision of power supply and water connection to multi-purpose indoor stadium, Tseminyu. Proposal for construction of town roads in Tseminyu Town was taken up and the concerned department was entrusted for further necessary action.
Tuensang: In view of the upcoming Republic Day celebration, a preparation cum co-ordination meeting was held at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Tuensang Office on January 17.
Phek: In view of the forthcoming celebration of 75th Republic Day celebration, a departmental co-ordination meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Phek, Kuko Mero at the Conference Hall of DC Phek Office on January 16.
Aboi: A meeting for the upcoming Republic Day celebration was held on January 15 at Aboi, Mon under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Aboi, Phuleshe K Yepthomi.
