Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School (PVHSS) Dimapur celebrated the 127th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on January 23 at PVHSS Auditorium.
A press release by PVHSS stated that at the programme, short speeches on the significance of observing the Netaji Jayanti were delivered by PVHSS vice-principal, Ashok Kr. Ray and Pritam Debnath, a student of Class-11.
Patriotic songs were presented by Ganga Das Chowdhury and Gitashree Bhattacharjee (A/T) and group. An informatics speech was delivered by Swami Arindamanandaji Maharaj.
Earlier, the programme began with the “universal peace prayer” sung by the teachers and the students followed by garlanding the portraits of Swami Pranabanandaji Maharaj the founder of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Swami Vijayanandaji Maharaj, the founder president of PVHSS, and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose by Swami Biduranandaji Maharaj. Floral tribute to the portraits of the founder secretary, late Manik Bhattacahrjee, late H.P. Sarkar and late K.P. Nandy was also made. The programme concluded with the INA National Anthem.
