Dimapur Press Club (DPC) and Kohima Press Club (DPC) has mourned at the demise of Eric Miachieo, who breathed his last on January 25. In a condolence message, DPC said late Miachieo was one of the founding members of DPC and served as secretary of the Club during its inception. The club said late Miachieo’s invaluable contributions have left an indelible mark on the journalistic field. The club further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
In another condolence note, KPC recalled late Miachieo journey as a journalist, who had covered stories of importance especially that of social concern, political developments and issues surrounding the Indo-Naga conflict. He was elected as the vice president of KPC on January 25, 2010 wherein he served in this capacity for the tenure 2010-2012. The club also remembered his invaluable contributions to the growth of the Press Club. KPC conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
