On the occasion of 75th Republic Day celebration, various awards were handed out to the awardees by Governor, La. Ganesan at celebration held at the Parade Ground Secretariat Plaza, Kohima. The list of the awardees were as follows: President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (Police) announced on the occasion of 75th Republic day celebration 2024: President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (Home Guards & Civil Defence) to Rupin Sharma Director General of Police Nagaland and Medozhalie Pienyu, Deputy Commandant General, Home Guards & Civil Defence.
The governor also handed Police Medal for Meritorious Service to Peter Shuya Angami, SDPO; Toshimongba Imchen, ABSI and Archer Phyobemo, ABSI. List of awardees of Governor’s award on the occasion of Republic day Celebration 2024 (announced on Independence Day 2023) were: Kathyinla, EAC Noklak; Meripeni, Additional State Protocol Officer Home Department (GAB-II) and Vikashe Chuse, Dy. SP Nagaland (Lokayukta). The governor also announced Governor’s Gold Medal to -Dr Sentitula IFS Divisional Forest office Mokokchung.
Governor’s Commendation Certificate award to I. Changsang, Under Secretary IDAN; C. Chilliam Khiam, ASI Women PS, Tuensang; Limitsung Sangtam, District coordinator (PMMVY) Kiphire; Puleno Neikha, Sports Coach (Sepaktakraw) Youth Resources & Sports Department; Bokavi Achumi, UDA ADC office Pughobto; Ruyoseyi and Office Peon Directorate of Agriculture. Governor also announced the President’s Police Medal (PPM) for distinguished service to Etsimongo Nugullie IPS (Rtd.) DIG (Range) Mokokchung and Imcharenla, IPS (Rtd) DIG NAP Kohima.
