Comprehensive induction training for SSN vocational trainers

A comprehensive induction training programme for 41 vocational trainers of Samagra Shiksha, Nagaland (SSN), who would be placed on various districts across the state was, conducted on January 20 at Morung Hall, Directorate of School Education (DoSE).


A press release by SSN stated that during the training, joint mission director, Samagra Shiksha, Dr. Chumbeni Kikon addressed the trainers on the importance of vocational education in today’s educational landscape. She shed light on the transformative potential of vocational education in preparing students for meaningful and sustainable careers.


Nagaland Broad of School Education (NBSE) academic officer, Dziesevolie Tsurho guided the trainers on the assessment methodologies and curriculum within the realm of vocational education.


Assistant manager of Lend A Hand India, Imdangjungla Jamir briefed the trainers on the current status of the vocational education in the state. Jamir also outlined the roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders within the vocational education system.
The training session was presided over by state coordinator for Vocational Education (VE), Nukshila Angh.
