NPBCA holds 35th general annual council

Nagaland Police Baptist Churches Association (NPBCA) held its 35th general annual council under the theme, “Experiencing God Together” (Acts 2: 42-47) on January 19-21, hosted by Police Baptist Church, Tuensang.


A press release by NPBCA stated that 177 delegates from 30 Police Baptist Churches attended the three-day council which was declared open by NPBCA executive secretary, Rev. H. A. Zhimomi.


At the opening service, the keynote address was delivered by NPBCA president, Dr. H. Ndang while Superintendent of Police (SP) Tuensang, Kanchan Kumar Kandpal encouraged the gathering to contribute more towards the upliftment of the society.
On the second day, the council conducted the business session and received presentation of reports and organised a farewell programme for PBC Mokokchung Pastor Rev. Limatemsu. In the evening worship service, USBLA executive secretary, Rev. Y. Imtiba delivered the word of God on the topic, “Experiencing God Together in Fellowshipping”.


On the third day, the sermon was delivered by CBLT executive secretary, Rev. Achu Chang on the topic, “Experiencing God Together in Ministry,” while commandant VG, M. Yanchu Chang exhorted the gathering.


A workshop was conducted on the topic “Church Response to Substance Abuse” with Rev. Achu Chang as the resource person. In the last worship service, Rev. H. A. Zhimomi spoke on the topic, “Experiencing God Together in Witnessing”.
