AR conduct various activities across state

Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General of Assam Rifles-North (IGAR-N) conducted various programmes and activities across Nagaland.

Aboi: A security meeting cum awareness session was conducted by Assam Rifles on January 22 at Aboi, Mon district with village GBs and village council members of Aboi and surrounding villages. The meeting was conducted to discuss security related issues keeping in mind, forthcoming Republic Day.


Changlangshu: Assam Rifles organised a visit of school students under the initiative, “A Day with Company Commander,” on January 21 at Changlangshu CoB, Mon. A total of 60 students including four teachers of Bumei Village spent their day with the company commander at Changlangshu.


Mokokchung: Assam Rifles on January 22 conducted a wreath laying ceremony at the Veer Smriti, Mokokchung to pay homage to seven bravehearts who made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty on 24 Jan 1964 when the unit was deployed in Wokha.
