In view of the forthcoming General Election to Lok Sabha, 2024, a five-day Certification Programme (phase-I) for Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) of Nagaland commenced on Monday at the Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Kohima.
In a press release, chief electoral officer, Nagaland, Vyasan R, informed that the training programme was conducted by Resource Persons/National Level Master Trainers (NLMTs) deputed by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
The training sessions will include nomination including instructions on criminal antecedent, Scrutiny of Nomination, withdrawal of candidature and allotment of symbol, Model Code of Conduct, Qualification and Disqualification, E-Roll, District Election Management Plan,SVEEP, Service Voter Portal, EMS, ETPBS, NGRS, Observer Portal, IT Application including Nomination, Permission, Poll Day, Counting, etc, ERO-Net, Postal Ballot, Polling Party and Poll Day arrangement including polling stations, Vulnerability Mapping, Expenditure Monitoring, Paid News and MCMC, EVM-VVPAT Administrative Procedure, EVM-VVPAT Hands-On, ETPBS, Counting and Declaration of Result.
