Patkai Christian College will hold its 2nd Patkai Trophy from February 29 to March 2. The event will be the golden jubilee edition of the trophy as the college celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. The inaugural function will be graced by Director, Life Ministries, and vice president Nagaland Football Association, Colo Mero.
A total of 26 teams from various higher secondary schools and colleges of the state will compete in four disciplines – football, basketball, volleyball and badminton. Except for football, all the events will have competitions for both men and women. This year’s edition has a total cash prize of Rs. 1.57 lakhs across various disciplines which will include six individual categories with a cash prize of Rs. 1000/- each. The closing ceremony will be graced by minister, Tourism, Higher and Technical Education, Temjen Imna Along.
