Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Nagaland unit has congratulated working president NCP (National) Praful Patel on being elected to the Rajya Sabha.
In a congratulatory note, NCP Nagaland Unit president, Vanthungo Odyou and general secretary, Tokaito Yeptho stated that his election to the Parliament was a befitting testament to his vast political experiences and services rendered in public life. The party rank and life of NCP Nagaland solicits his continued guidance and wished him success in his future political ventures.
The party also congratulates S. Toiho Yeptho (MLA) on being elected (unopposed) as Deputy Speaker, Nagaland Legislative Assembly. It stated that although being a first timer in the NLA, S. Toiho Yeptho has had an illustrious stint in public life rendering service to people in different capacities. “His unanimous election to the constitutional post exhibits the confidence which he enjoys from all the elected members of NLA”, NCP Nagaland stated. The NCP Nagaland on behalf of the central-leadership, also expressed gratitude to chief minister of Nagaland Neiphu Rio, and all fellow political parties for reposing their faith in S. Toiho Yephto and unanimously electing him as the Deputy Speaker.
