Lily Hasnu of Darogajan village, Dimapur and Ani Yepthomi received Northeast Women Leader Award at the “Northeast Leadership Award” held on February 28 at Vivanta, Guwahati.
The event was organised by EIILM Kolkata in collaboration with World Women Congress CMO Asia/Global.
A press release from general secretary East Dimapur Area Village Council Chairmen Forum, P. M. Thaosen informed that Hasnu was conferred the award for fitness athlete and educationist. She is a certified fitness trainer and also a principal by profession in one of the reputed schools in Dimapur.
Representing Northeast India in various bodies building competition, she has won and bagged many titles bringing laurels to the state and the country, inspiring many others alike.
Among several significant titles, she won the Miss India Fitness Model (gold medal) in Ludhiana, Punjab, Miss Ultimate Fitness Overall Champion Women’s Physique Regional Championship, bronze medal in National Championship IBFF held in Sikkim, 4th place in Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Championship in Maldives, 5th place in World Body Building Championship held in Thailand, Miss Nagaland title.
Meanwhile, Ani Yepthomi, an educationist also received the Northeast Women Leader Award in the field of education, however, it was informed that Yepthomi could not attend the award programme due to unavoidable reasons.
