Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports and Information & Broadcasting Anurag Singh Thakur virtually inaugurated various Khelo India construction projects in Nagaland on Monday, in the presence of Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio.
According to DIPR, the projects include three multipurpose halls located at Viswema under Kohima, Medziphema under Chümoukedima and Riphyim, Englan in Wokha district. Indoor Badminton Hall at Yachem EAC Hq. in Longleng and Synthetic Football Turf at Mon football ground.
Meanwhile, advisor for Youth Resources & Sports, S. Keoshu Yimchunger, advisor for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Zhaleo Rio, advisor to CM and chairman IDAN, Abu Metha and other legislators were also present during the virtual inauguration at CM’s residential complex, Kohima.
