Advisor of CAWD and Taxes, Kudecho Khamo, inaugurated additional classrooms constructed under Samagra Shiksha Nagaland (SSA) at GHS Japan Riba Chozuba on Tuesday. Speaking at the inaugural function, Khamo expressed concern on the land ownership and encroachment, which has hindered developmental activities.
He appealed to the people to not misuse Article 371(A) but to utilize it for other political rights that provide constitutional guarantees and said that reclaiming or encroaching land was illegal, unethical and a forbidden practice. He therefore encouraged the gathering to do away with such practices and think for the welfare of future generations.
He further said that the state government under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, was fully committed to overall development.
On the proxy teachers, the advisor said such practises should not be allowed under Chozuba Assembly constituency and urged the Village Councils and Village Education Committees (VECs) to report so that he could take up with the government.
He also expressed his appreciation to the school staff, led by Assistant Headmaster (AHM) Vekhozo, and acknowledged the support of the public, village leaders, and church leadership from five villages for their contributions, including construction of a chapel hall, which was set for completion, and the upcoming community hostel.
He also encouraged the students to dream big with determination and work for the welfare of the people.

The programme was chaired by Vekhozo, AHM who also delivered the welcome address.
Short speech was delivered by Veto Keyho, Coordinator EBRC Chozuba and special presentation by students of GHS Japan Riba Chozuba.
The inaugural prayer was said by Rev Vesavo Shijoh, pastor Chozuba Village Baptist Church, vote of thanks by Vinoto Achumi, GT (Sci) and benediction by Nuvotso Luruo, pastor Runguzu Baptist Church.
