HSS extends Holi greetings

Hindu Seva Samiti Dimapur has extended greetings to all on the occasion of Holi. In a press note, HSS president Gopal Sharma said that Holi symbolizes the triumph of good over evil. “It is a festival where we burn our vices and strive to become better individuals,” he added.
Further, the Samiti appealed to the Hindus in Dimapur to celebrate a pollution-free Holi while emphasizing the importance of adopting eco-friendly practice and safety measures to protect environment and human health.


It also asked all to use organic colours and refrain from littering the streets and to ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
“By adopting these precautions, individuals can ensure a joyful and sustainable festive season for all,” Gopal added.
