Police Baptist Church Mon (PBCM) Youth Department, Sports Ministry organized a penalty shootout event on March 23. According to PBCM, the event was organised to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and authentic community among young athletes, under the theme “Athletes for Christ” I Corinthians 9:25.
Cafe 90 Minutes emerged as the winner and Organiser Team-A finished in second position. 40 teams from clubs, colleges, churches, and schools participated in the competition. Bandangwati, SDPO Mon, who graced the event, spoke on the importance of sportsmanship, game spirit, discipline, teamwork and health in sports. Earlier, the event began with an invocation by Banwang pastor PBCM, welcome address by Noklem Konyak youth director PBCM.
