Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio and NPP Nagaland have extended Good Friday greetings to the people of Nagaland.
Rio said Good Friday is a time to remember the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ and His unconditional love for all. “Light conquered darkness and goodness conquered sin. May the day bring new meaning and positive change in our lives. I wish all Christians a blessed Good Friday,” Rio said.
NPP president A Nyamyei Konyak, MLA and all party workers said Good Friday is an occasion to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary.
NPP said that it was a solemn day for the Christians to reflect and mourn the death of Jesus Christ. The party said that Christians across the world believe Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross represents the ultimate act of love and redemption for humanity’s sins.
“Good Friday serves as a powerful reminder of the hope that lies even in the face of immense suffering. It is a day of introspection and a time to contemplate the meaning of Jesus’ sacrifice for Humanity,” NPP said.
