No withdrawal of candidature for LS poll

On the last day of withdrawal of candidature for the Lok Sabha elections, no candidates opted to withdraw their candidature, the office of the Commissioner Nagaland & Returning Officer said on Saturday.


With this the candidates contesting for the lone seat in the upcoming Lok Sabha election in Nagaland include PDA consensus candidate Dr. Chumben Murry, S. Supongmeren Jamir of the Congress and Independent candidate Hayithung Tungoe Lotha. Voting will take place on April 19 and counting of votes on June 4, 2024.
