Nagaland Governor, La Ganesan, chief minister Neiphiu Rio, deputy chief minister, Y. Patton and National People’s Party (NPP) Nagaland unit have extended Easter greetings to the people of Nagaland.
Ganesan in a message, said Easter has been celebrated each year around the world with great reverence and further called on the people to celebrate the testament of God’s love to humanity and the spirit of forgiveness. Governor hoped that the resurrection of Jesus Christ will fill the hearts with joy, hope and brings abundant blessings to everyone.
CM: In a post on X, Rio said that Jesus’ greatest act of love on Good Friday is followed by the greatest act of power on Easter Sunday, which is His resurrection. “May the miracle of Easter bring renewed love, hope and joy in our lives. I wish everyone a happy and a blessed Easter,” Rio said.
Patton: Dy. CM, Y. Patton in his message said Easter Sunday was a significant occasion to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which has opened the doors of salvation to generations. He said the supreme sacrifice on the cross was a manifestation of the true Gospel of love. Meanwhile, Patton on behalf of the state BJP legislators, conveyed Easter greetings to everyone and prayed for God’s blessings and healing in the land.
NPP: Extending greetings, NPP state unit led by president, A Nyamnyei Konyak explained the significant of Easter Sunday among the Christians and how the resurrection of Jesus Christ fulfilled the prophecies and offered hope to the believers.
As people of the state celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the NPP prayed that the spirit of Easter Sunday reverberates in hearts of all the Christians in the State and the message of Hope and Joy be spread in everyone’s hearts.
