LMFN meets advisor Imkongmar Longkumar

Chairman and Members of Linguistic Minority Forum of Nagaland (LMFN) had a introductory meeting with MLA & Advisor of Minority Affairs, Government of Nagaland Imkongmar Longkumar, on March 30 at his residence.


A press release from LMFN general secretary Kabir Chaudhury, stated that the forum called upon to discuss the activities, existence and aims and objectives of linguistic and religious minorities in Nagaland and had a fruitful discussion with the advisor.


Chairman of Minority Forum mentioned about peaceful coexistence of non Naga community in Nagaland and discussed thoroughly about some of the deprived minority students, youth, women and widows and also stressed on important issues related to constitutional rights, schemes and projects under central government for the welfare and development of minority citizens living permanently in Nagaland.


Advisor Imkongmar Longkumar assured the forum to extend all possible support to minority citizens for the welfare and development in all sectors with the approval of the authority, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Delhi.


LMFN chairman Bishnu Bhattacharjee extended Easter greetings and thanked the advisor Longkumar for his extended support for the welfare and development of linguistic Minority citizens living in Dimapur.
