Assam Rifles, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, Nagaland (IRCSN) and the Centre of Naga Hospital, organised a blood donation and medical camp on April 6 at New Minister Hill in Kohima.
AR said skilled medical professionals from the Assam Rifles, IRCSN, and Naga Hospital provided free consultations and essential medication to all attendees.
Furthermore, informative sessions were conducted to educate the public on various health-related topics, promoting healthy lifestyle practices. A total of 61 individuals donated blood, while 124 individuals took advantage of the medical camp services.
Kiphire: Assam Rifles organised a free medical camp in the remote Indo-Myanmar border village of Hakkomute in Kiphire district on April 6. With no medical establishment in the vicinity, AR said this effort aimed to address the healthcare needs of the villagers. A total of 43 individuals benefited from the medical camp, receiving essential healthcare services.
