Cashless services under PM-JAY, CMHIS to continue

Nagaland Health Protection Society (NHPS) has assured that delivery of cashless services under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) and Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) would continue despite technical challenges.

While PM-JAY and CMHIS had ushered in a new policy period effective April 1, 2024, the implementation had encountered intermittent technical issues within the National Health Authority (NHA) IT portal for CMHIS (EP). While efforts were underway to resolve the issues promptly, empanelled hospitals have been directed to submit offline registrations and pre-authorisation requests along with all necessary documents by email to SHA and claim processing team of the insurance company to ensure seamless service delivery till the portal issues were resolved.

Further, all empanelled hospitals have been directed to continue delivery of cashless services to beneficiaries, failing which necessary disciplinary actions as per the provision of the contract would be initiated against erring EHCPs.

In the event of any empanelled hospital refusing cashless benefits, beneficiaries have been requested to contact 8880515011/8880515012/8880515013/8880515014; toll-free helpline number 14555/1800111565; Central Grievance Redressal and Management System.
