DAYO stands in solidarity with ENPO’s decision

DIMAPUR: Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation (DAYO) has expressed solidarity with ENPO and the people of the area for their “principled stance and decision” to abstain from taking part in the election process.
In a statement issued through its media cell, DAYO lauded their unwavering commitment and steadfastness to their convictions, which it said was a source of inspiration the Nagas as a whole.
Furthermore, DAYO extended heartfelt appreciation to the people of Nagaland for the peaceful conduct of the recently concluded Lok Sabha election.


DAYO noted that the exemplary manner in which the democratic process unfolded testified to the citizens’ commitment to democratic principles and nation-building. It also highlighted the peaceful atmosphere during the elections as indicative of the maturity of the electorate and set a positive precedent for future electoral processes in the region.


Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation emphasized that through such collective efforts and mutual respect, the people can continue to strengthen democratic institutions and foster unity among diverse communities. As an organization, Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation reiterated its commitment to the well-being and progress of society. “We pledge to continue to work towards the advancement of our state and ensure that the voices of all our citizens are heard and respected,” it added.
