Nagaland Deputy chief minister Y. Patton fetes HSLC topper

Deputy chief minister, Y. Patton and his family felicitated Mhachilo Yanthan, who topped the HSLC examination 2024 conducted by Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), at his residence, Ikishe village, Chumoukedima on Sunday.


Mhachilo, a student of Christian Higher Secondary School, Dimapur secured an aggregate 593 marks.
Patton and his wife congratulated her and handed cash award in the presence of her parents Zaremo Yanthan (constable of 7th NAP) and Lucy Yanthan, and commandant 7th NAP Menangmeren.
Patton took note of Mhachilo achievement and encouraged her to continue to pursue her study with hard and bring more laurels. Patton said that Mhachilo achievement had not only made the family but the entire Lotha community proud.


The deputy chief minister also said that Mhachilo achievement has also made the entire 7th NAP Battalion proud, as her father himself was a police personnel posted at 7th NAP Battalion, Bhandari. The Deputy chief minister further encouraged her to strive hard and approach him in the event of any need arise.
Patton also congratulated all the toppers and successful candidates for HSLC and HSSLC examination 2024 and prayed that Almighty God continue to lead them in their academic journey.
Meanwhile, Mhachilo and her parents expressed gratitude to deputy chief minister, Y. Patton and family for the acknowledgment and encouragement.
