International Workers day commemorated

Nagaland Domestic Workers Movement, in collaboration with Assisi Centre for Integrated Development (ACID), commemorated International Workers Day at Rana Bosti, on May 1.
A press release by Assisi Centre for Integrated Development informed that Sr. Pramila, while addressing members, said that while celebrating the progress made in securing rights of workers, the ongoing challenges faced by workers in the world should also be acknowledged.
She maintained that from wage inequality to precarious employment, unsafe working condition to discrimination, unfair treatment, difference in wage payment, exploitation, there was many work to be done to ensure that every worker was treated with respect and dignity.
