CEO inspects strong room at Pughoboto and Wokha

Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Nagaland, Vyasan R Thursday inspected the strong rooms storing the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) of the recently held Lok Sabha poll.
According to a DIPR report, the CEO inspected the strong room and counting hall located at Additional Deputy Commission (ADC) and District Election Officer (DEO) Office, Pughoboto.
The strong room is guarded by B/78 Bn CRPF Sechu Zubza personnel.
The CEO, accompanied by additional CEO, Awa Lorin and deputy CEO, Roland Merry, conducted the inspection in the presence of ADC and DEO Tiameren Chang, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Hankiumong and Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC), Khriethozo Pfukri. Party presidents and representatives from recognised political parties also witnessed the inspection.
In Wokha, the CEO Nagaland along with officials also inspected the strong room at Wokha.
