‘Tsütuo Nialhou Badze’ inaugurated at Kigwema

Tsütuo Nialhou Badze was inaugurated at Kigwema village in Kohima, on Thursday.
Speaking at the event, Kohima Village Council chairman, Helievi-o Solo emphasized the importance of strong relationships in altruistic land and resource sharing, promoting peace and unity in Kohima village. Solo stated that utilizing and preserving shared spaces is a collective responsibility for fostering peace and understanding among all individuals. Solo expressed confidence that sharing heritage would engage people in exploring their history and lineage, emphasizing the importance of conservation for understanding our past and present ways of life.


Despite facing technical challenges, Solo noted that Kigwema village intended to supply water to the new medical college, highlighting the value of natural resources like water and land, emphasizing the importance of sharing through compassion and empathy. He emphasized the significance of documenting both past and present stories for future generations. Kigwema Village Council Chairman, Balie Kere, commended Kohima village for its foresight and wisdom, inviting villagers to build lasting relationships through frequent visits to Kigwema village.


Advisor of Tsütuonuomia Khel Council, Vikuolie Zatsu, stimulated the gathering with tales of the ancestor Tsütuo. Chairman K Neibou Sekhose highlighted the establishment of stone resting places in Kigwema and Kiruphema by the council to honor the legacy.
Earlier the unfurling of Tsütuonuomia flag was done by Viu Belho, Advisor, Tsütuonuomia Khel Council and Avibu Belho presented a song titled Tsütuonuomia.
