National Congress president Sonia Gandhi has approved the proposal for appointing K V Pusa, MLA, as the ad-hoc president of the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) with immediate effect. AICC incharge organization, Janardan Dwivedi, MP, in a press release informed that Mrs. Gandhi had also appointed Neiba Ndang as chairman of the campaign committee of NPCC and K. Therie as its secretary.
Meanwhile, outgoing NPCC president Hokheto Sumi has congratulated KV Pusa on his appointment as the ad-hoc president of NPCC by All India Congress Committee (AICC). “I hope that with his appointment as the new NPCC President, K V Pusa will be able to lead the party to a better height. I wish him every success in his future endeavour in taking up the responsibility of the Party activities in the State,” Hokheto said in a press release.
