DDCG firm to check extortion

Dimapur District Coordination Group (DDCG) has resolved not to allow any extortion or illegal collection in Dimapur, and to initiate legal action against any underground faction resorting to illegal collection and intimidation.
DC Dimapur Maong Aier in a press informed that the Dimapur District Coordination Group meeting held Thursday in the office Chamber of DC Dimapur, also resolved that no citizen of Dimapur should harbour NSCN cadres. The DC said joint operations would be conducted very shortly to identify citizens harbouring the cadres and simultaneously to flush out underground cadres from Dimapur.
DDCG meeting also decided to appeal to NSCN factions camping in Dimapur district to go to their respective designated camps immediately, to prevent further clashes and to maintain ceasefire ground rules.
