Taking serious note of the note of caution issued to DC Kohima Sachopra Vero by the NSCN (I-M), the Chakhesang Hoho Kohima (CHK) has appealed “concerned individuals” and the organization to revoke and withdraw the “Caution Notice.” CHK president Lechütso Lasuh and general secretary Vezühü Keyho in a press release said that “any reasonable person will and should differentiate between the delegations of powers. The role of the DC is to carry the instruction and/or directive of the Government policies. The order issued by the DC not a personal decision, but an action taken in the official capacity as the Deputy Commissioner of the District.”
