Training for LS elections counting officials in Kohima

A training for the counting officials for the 18th Lok Sabha Election 2024 was held Tuesday at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kohima Office. According to a DIPR report, speaking at the training, DC Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant, said the micro-observers should be aware of Election Commission of India’s (ECI) guidelines and to be more cautious in executing their duties.


Ramnikant requested the officials to check the machines thoroughly and make sure that they were intact. He asked the officials to work as a team and function as one unit during the counting process.


The DC also urged officials to highlight any problem that may arise during the counting process to the concerned authority for early correction. The training was imparted by deputy director, labour commissioner and district level master trainer, Chubayanger.
