Surgerical medical store inaugurated

In a step aimed to cater medical aid to the people of Nagaland, a new facility of surgerical (anesthetic) medical store which could boost the much-needed medical treatment of various ailments, especially surgical treatment was formally inaugurated Thursday by MLA for 3-Dimapur-III A/C, Azheto Zhimomi at HP Plaza, Purana Bazaar, Dimapur as chief guest.
Speaking at the dedication programme, MLA, Azheto Zhimomi congratulated the proprietor of medical store, Kainoto Chishi for his successful venture and expressed hope that “this kind of entrepreneurship would set a trend and be an encouragement for young people.” Zhimomi while asserting that unemployment was one of the biggest challenges of “our modem time” said “it is necessary that we discover our latent talent, creativity, be meticulous, hardworking and be self reliant.” The MLA added that the idea of self-reliance was fast catching up with the young people.
He also urged the people to keep away from the temptation of fast and easy life, adding it could spell destruction to their life. Proprietor, Kainoto Chishi while delivering his speech said the motive behind opting for medical store, particularly anesthetical equipments, was taken in view of catering the needs of “our people” especially in times of emergencies. The medical store is said to be the first one in the state. The facility is intended to solely provide all sorts of injectable drug items and surgerical equipments. It would also cater to the demands of pharmacist, hospitals and patients in particular.
Earlier, delivering a speech Dr. Moa, Pathologist Zion Hospital said that it was a long felt need to have such medical store in the state. He substantiated by saying “when you have a wholesaler we get at (medical drugs/equipment) the cheaper rate” making the patients pay lesser. He also suggested the proprietor to consult with concern doctors and get feed back while reproduce the result out of it.
Meanwhile, the inaugural programme was chaired by Henok Bucham, invocation prayer by Rev. Vangpong, vice president, NCRC, Dimapur while dedicatory prayer was pronounced by Rev Vitoi Kappo, Pastor, Sumi Baptist Church, Purana Bazzar. The dedication programme was followed by introduction of medical drugs and equipments.
