After an extensive four-day search operation conducted by National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and District Disaster Management Authority, the second body was recovered from Doyang dam reservoir on Thursday morning.
The deceased has been identified as that of Thungchio Patton (24). Following identification, the body was handed over to the family for the final rites. The first body, recovered on Wednesday afternoon, was identified as Elanthung Ngullie.
With recovery of both the bodies, the search operation has now concluded. The coordinated efforts of the NDRF, SDRF, and DDMA ensured that both the bodies were recovered and handed over to their respective families. (Correspondent)
