Bombs recovered

Personnel of Dimapur East Police Station recovered six live bomb shells from a paddy field near a construction site at Khopanala, on the backside of St. Stephen School, Friday noon. Police suspect that the bomb shells, each measuring 9 ½ inches in length, 12 inches circumference, 3 inches diameter and weighing 8.75 kg, belonged to the Second World War period.
