Deputy Commissioner Kohima Kumar Ramnikant has informed that in pursuance of the decision taken by the Kohima District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) and as part of the monsoon preparedness exercise, a mass social work will be conducted in Kohima Town on June 6 from 6 am onwards to clean/clear all clogged drains in Kohima Town area.
According to DIPR, the mass social work will involve all District Offices in Kohima along with the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC). In this regard, all the Heads of Offices in the district have been requested to take note of the following instructions; all participants have been asked to bring necessary tools/items for the work as per requirement.
