NSCN (I-M) UT warns owners of hotels, lodges

NSCN (I-M) UT has issued stern warning to owners of hotels and lodges within UT jurisdiction against entertaining underage/young girls for immoral activities. In a press note, NSCN (I-M) secretary UT Solomon Sumi said that underage/young girls were caught in hotel rooms with non-locals and also with older men for some cash. NSCN (I-M) said that students were also caught red-handed with uniform at hotel rooms.

UT office said it was disheartening to note that young girls were seen selling their pride by involving in such activities, despite the fact that Naga society strongly advocated dignity and honour of women in the society.

It, therefore, directed all hotels/lodges to check the ID cards of girls and bar those in uniform and underage girls from entering the hotels. UT office warned of action against owners of hotels/lodges as per Azha of NSCN/GPRN for non-compliance.

Further, UT office said it had come to learn that there were places in Dimapur town running sex racket, pimping young girls for few thousand rupees, which was unacceptable to the Naga society. UT office, therefore, warned of strict action/penalty against defaulters if apprehended.
