Nagaland Bharat Scouts and Guides (NSBSG) felicitated Sano Vamuzo, a life member and a recipient of Padma Shri award, at her residence on June 4, 2024. A report by media coordinator NSBSG informed that at the felicitation programme, State secretary Er. Zakie Suohu congratulated Sano Vamuzo for bringing laurels to her people and association. On behalf of the association and all members worldwide, Er. Zakie wished her good health and a long life.
State secretary and Dr. Nicky Kire, life member also spoke at the programme and congratulated her.
Sano Vamuzo served the Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides in the following capacities 1969-1972 State Organizing Commissioner (Guide) 1979-1982 State Commissioner (Guide) 2013-2017 Vice President.
As a Life member, Sano continue to encourage the young people with her passion for guiding keeping her promise to do her best, to do her duty to God and her country, to help other people and to obey the Guide law.
