WSH warns Naga political groups against indulging in violence

Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) has warned that any Naga Political Group(s) (NPGs) responsible for initiating conflict or engaging in violence within the jurisdiction of Western Sumi( which included Dimapur, Niuland, and Chümoukedima), would face severe consequences that could lead to complete non-cooperation and blacklisting.

This was unanimously resolved at a crucial meeting of WSH with all its frontal organisations and advisors at WSH Hiyam, Chekiye village on Wednesday. According to WSH media cell, the main agenda of the meeting was to address the discord within the GPRN/NSCN (U), Khehoi camp, which was causing widespread concern among the Nagas.

At the meeting, WSH members expressed deep concern over the possibility of the situation escalating into violence among the Nagas, if immediate steps was not taken to resolve the rift.
The WSH emphasised on unity among all Naga groups and urged them to prioritise the well-being of the Naga people above all else.

WSH also said , it was crucial for all parties to come together in cooperation and with respect to find a peaceful resolution instead of further dividing and forming factions.

WSH called on all stakeholders to work together to prevent any discord and violence. Further, the WSH reaffirmed its dedication to promoting peace, unity, and solidarity within the Naga community, stressingthat all parties work towards a harmonious resolution for the greater good of the Naga people.
