As part of their silver jubilee, Tragopan Club of Rachümi Khel, Viswema Village on Saturday visited Kohima Orphanage and Destitute Home and donated various edibles like rice, vegetables, eggs, tea-items etc.
Addressing the gathering Tragopan Club president Krovo Lcho lauded Mother Zaputuou for her tireless effort in building up the children and called upon the inmates of KODH to obey Mother Zaputuou . He also urged the children to work hard in their search for excellence in different fields.
Krovo said the Club presently has 590 members and aimed to promote and revive the rich culture and tradition of Nagas so as to encourage the youngsters to move towards the correct path and to build better understanding, peace and unity in the society. The Club also gives importance to cleanliness drive.
Earlier Deacon Videsul Neikha gave the invocation prayer, while Tebul Neikha, ex-president Tragopan Club also addressing the gathering spoke on the occasion, Keneikrul and friends presented a special number. The function ended mass prayer and followed by refreshment with children.
