Two days of political intrigue that unfolded on Sunday, which was first reported in Nagaland Post, appears to be headed for a climax when 24 NPF legislators supporting G.Kaito Aye along with four BJP legislators including an independent, will be meeting Nagaland Governor P.B.Acharya at the Chumukedima Police Complex in the morning. Disclosing this to Nagaland Post, a senior NPF legislator also claimed that three other independent legislators who had gone to meet with the Kaito group on Tuesday, have also expressed willingness to join the group.
At the meeting with the state Governor, the legislators will unanimously propose the name of G.Kaito Aye as the next chief minister as he enjoys majority support of NPF legislators.
The senior NPF legislator in the Kaito camp has further revealed the following names of NPF legislators who have pledged support to Kaito as the leaders of the party legislature:

According to a source in the Kaito group presently camped in Sovima, minister for highways and mechanical Nuklotoshi will also join the group after his return from Delhi.
The source said all NPF legislators from Mokokchung have resolved to join Kaito’s group.
It was also revealed that C L John and N Thongwang who were in their respective constituencies were also likely to join the group.
Meanwhile, it was also learnt that other NPF legislators such as -R Tohanba, Yitachu, Neiba Kronu and R. Tohanba still remained undecided.
With senior NPF legislators such as Assembly Speaker Chotisuh Sazo, PHE minister Noke and Azo Neinu in their ranks, the Kaito group has practically left the T.R.Zeliang camp with few senior leaders.
For the media, while the Kaito camp has been communicative, the T.R.Zeliang camp on the other hand, remained incommunicado.
It was also learnt, that the Kaito group was not going to react to the suspension of seven legislators on Monday and who have been issued with show cause notice on Tuesday.
Sources in the group, maintained that there was no anti-party activity committed since it was a democratic exercise of opting for an alternative leader.
